Het Finse staatsbezoek aan Nederland van de afgelopen dagen had ook een onderdeel over Defensie. Tijdens een rondleiding op het Marine Etablissement Amsterdam werd de vrouw van de Finse president Alexander Stubb ingelicht over actuele defensie-initiatieven. Ze sprak met koning Willem-Alexander en koningin Máxima en met minister Ruben Brekelmans. Stubb zelf was daar ook, maar moest tussentijds aansluiten bij het coalition of the willing-overleg met premier Schoof met betrekking tot de steun aan Oekraïne. Een dag later was er een ‘regeringslunch’. Hierbij werd over Oekraïne en de defensie-industrie gesproken.
